Gleason School
is Honored as a

“Level 5,
Most Effective School”

State testing data from the 2018-19 school year showed that students across grade-levels at Gleason School grew at a significantly higher rate than many schools across Tennessee.  This achievement placed Gleason School in the highest category of academic growth (Level 5), titled as a “Most Effective” School.  Gleason School, led by Principal Lee Lawrence and Assistant Principal Monica Rollins, received a letter of recognition for the “Level 5” academic growth accomplishment, applauding Gleason teachers and administration for their hard work, dedication, and leadership.  Not only did Gleason students achieve the Level 5, "Most Effective Schools" honor, Gleason students were only one tenth of a point away from also earning the honor of "Rewards School."  Gleason School houses students from Pre-K up to 12th grade, all on the same campus.  This setting allows interaction of activities between the different grades and provides for rich learning experiences with unlimited possibilities.  Gleason School offers a unique family atmosphere, with a faculty and staff ready to follow a child’s educational needs from the first day of Kindergarten, and all the way across the graduation stage.
